Debbie Weisberg was born in Beverly, Massachusetts and grew up in Manchester, New Hampshire, where she was then known as Debbie Katz. She graduated from University of New Hampshire and attended Boston University College of Communications. After graduate school, Debbie worked at Ingalls, Quinn & Johnson, which at that time was one of Boston's largest advertising and public relations agencies. Her office was one block from Boston's famed Newbury Street -- perfect training for Debbie's frequent shopping expeditions. At the agency, Debbie worked as a VP/Manager Supervisor on a variety of retail accounts. She oversaw the T.J. Maxx account, where she acted as the company spokesperson, traveling across the country conducting hundreds of television, newspaper and magazine interviews about the "thrill of finding incredible fashion bargains." In the process, she also amassed an impressive designer wardrobe, all at well below retail prices.
